Leading Global Engineering Consultancy is looking for a Senior Transport Planner to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role is to provide support to the Head of department and work with other team leaders to manage business on a day-to day basis and play significant part in driving it forward. This will include project management of a number of projects and the delivery of technical work to programme and budget. The successful candidate will be a degree qualified civil engineer with experience in transport planning and traffic engineering; experience in Development Planning, Development control and Transport/Traffic assessment, Master Planning and urban regeneration, Parking studies; experience in construction traffic assessment and traffic management; working knowledge in a range of transport appraisal and modelling techniques such as VISSIM, TRANSYT, EMME2, as SIDRA, Synchro and HCS; understanding of British, American and International design standards.
