Our client a leading Construction Consultancy has an immediate requirement for an Associate level Design Project Manager to be based in their head offices in London.
The role will include managing the design process to ensure that deliverables are issued on time and meet the expectations of the Client to ensure the successful completion of any design project. You will be responsible for managing the opportunities within the team and ensuring the team respond to these opportunities.
My Clients approach is based on a thorough understanding of the design process. They become a proactive member of the Design Team, sympathising with the issues of the Design Team members and assisting the Design Team to produce their deliverables on time protecting the interests of the Architect and minimising the risk to the Client.
Design Project Management is the service relating to one phase of the project i.e. the design on behalf of the Architect and the Design Team rather than the complete project life cycle.
The successful candidate will work closely with Design Teams leading to the development of a specialist Design Project Management service specifically tailored to suit the needs of Architects.
The ideal candidate will therefore have strong managerial skills and also have Business Development experience.
A building related degree is essential and further professional qualifications are preferred.
