JOB TITLE: IT Technical Engineer

COMPANY INFORMATION:
My client is a manufacturer of flint, green and amber glass containers for the food and beverage industries.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Reporting to the IT Manager, the role will involve providing support to the entire infrastructure to ensure high availability, including installing, monitoring and maintaining the server 2003, HP-UX and AD systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems. In addition the role will involve completing upgrades, installing new software releases and resolve software related problems.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years technical support experience and a third level qualification in IT. A flexible approach is required as this role may involve out of hours work. Normal office hours would apply 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 5pm Fridays.
