We are looking to recruit an experienced Voids Manager for our client, a market leading contractor covering social housing in East London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all void properties and will cover the entire turnaround process. After drawing up work specifications you will supervise all directly employed and subcontracted labour to ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget and to the required standard. You will be required to check all coding against the National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates, check all operative timesheets, deal with client representatives and housing officers and more.
A proven background in working for maintenance contractors on public sector housing is essential, as is a good knowledge of the national Schedule of rates. This position will become permanent for the right person.
