Turner Lovell is currently recruiting Control System/DCS Engineer – I & C Engineer
We are currently working with a client who has numerous positions available in North Africa, Switzerland and Holland, for electrical engineers, commissioning engineers and electrical controls and instrumentation engineers.
The project we are working on is an upgrade project and the plants will be upgraded from analogue to digital signals (DCS).
It is a contract role initially for 6 months with a view to extend further. The client would also consider permanent candidates for the roles. The client has specified that the candidate has must have worked on either Gas Turbines or Fossil Fuel Power Plants. Candidates must have worked on ABB control systems
The candidate:
The candidate will have a minimum 5 years or more experience within power plants on a global scale. Previous experience in doing similar upgrades will be advantageous. An electrical, mechanical or engineering degree is required but candidates with relevant experience will still be considered. Candidates must be an EU citizen.
Key Criteria required:
- ALSPA (version 4-6)
- ABB AC800 experience
- Experience in power plants (conventional, combined cycle or nuclear)
- Able to program logic (changes and new) in one of the above systems
- Fluent in English
- French would be an advantage
- willing to work extensive hours (10hrs day for a 6month period)
