We have an excellent job opportunity for a Sustainability Consultant Trainee to work for a leading multi-disciple Construction Consultancy based in the North West, UK
The role will sit within their Property Development Consultancy Team currently consisting of 5 members of staff
The team pool their knowledge and expertise, in supporting and liaising with other disciplines within the office and throughout the business as a whole. The team is currently working on a broad range of BREEAM schemes and a number of high profile projects, including Building Schools for the Future (BSF) and Property Rationalisation.
The Role & Responsibilities
They are looking for a trainee Sustainable Solutions Consultant to support the team in their daily tasks and specific project work. An excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and skills within the discipline.
The successful candidate will also have involvement in progressing the status and skills of the energy/sustainability offering within the Blackburn office, and potentially the wider business environment.
Essential Criteria
• Degree in a related subject
• Desire to develop a career within the discipline of sustainability
• Knowledge of sustainability in the built environment
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise workload
Desirable Criteria
• Keen to develop the wider sustainability concept within a multi-discipline group.
• Experience of BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes
• Experience of undertaking energy audits
