We have an excellent job opportunity for a Sustainability Consultant to work for a leading multi-disciple Construction Consultancy based in the North West, UK
The role will sit within their Property Development Consultancy Team currently consisting of 5 members of staff
The team pool their knowledge and expertise, in supporting and liaising with other disciplines within the office and throughout the business as a whole. The team is currently working on a broad range of BREEAM schemes and a number of high profile projects, including Building Schools for the Future (BSF) and Property Rationalisation.
The Role & Responsibilities
They are looking for a BREEAM/Sustainability Consultant possessing specific qualifications in either BREEAM Education and/or BREEAM other buildings
The successful candidate will also have involvement in progressing the status and skills of the energy/sustainability offering within the Blackburn office, and potentially the wider company environment.
Essential Criteria
• Education and/or other buildings BREEAM accreditation
• Familiarity with using iSBEM software and the manipulation of associated data.
• Ability to run part L Building Reg checks.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Desirable Criteria
• Degree in a related subject
• Keen to develop the wider sustainability concept within a multi-discipline group.
• Further Code for Sustainable Home or BREEAM accreditations
• Familiarity with Hevacomp front-end to run iSBEM check.
• Accreditation to sign off developers portion of Part L compliance
• Ability to undertake energy audits
• BREEAM Accredited Professional status
