We have an immediate vacancy for a Business Development Manager to work for a leading Construction & Management Consultancy at their head offices in central London.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Facilities Management / Bid Management with Property sector experience.
Main Purpose
s Resposponsible for the development of RFIs and RFPs.
s Responsible for new business development.
s Responsible for new business opportunities in conjunction with the Business Development Director.
s Project/planning the delivery bids ensure timeliness and quality of documentation
Main Job Responsibilities
s Formulate proposals, presentation materials and responses for RFPs..
s Development of new materials including the website
s Working with marketing team on campaigns
s Working with Bid Management team
s Supply chain relationships
s Working with Operations, Supply Chain and Macro Commercial team on financials
s Trovus Reports (website reports) to identify campaigns and developments
s Cold call new clients in target market segments.
s Contribute to pitches e.g. pricing, proposals etc.
s Work with the Operations team to ensure that the new appointments are transitioned accordingly.
s Work with Legal to execute any new contracts.
s Identify and support the conversion of opportunities for organic growth in specified accounts.
s Represent Macro in external networking forums and client functions.

s Depict Macro in a professional manner in all forms of communication – internal and external
s Participate and support other Macro and fm24 projects as and when required
Essential Skills and Experience:
s Minimum four years relevant business development/bidding experience with level of autonomy
s Strong knowledge of business development, bid management, marketing and communications
s Team player
s Excellent written and communication skills
s Experience in the writing and producing of articles, press releases, documents and reports
Desired Skills and Experience:
s Experience and knowledge of the facilities management and property sector would be an advantage
s Capable of editing and updating html pages for intranet and website applications
