We have an immediate requirement for an MRICS qualified Senior Building Surveyor to work for a busy Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham.
Our Client is a leading independent global company of more than 2000 people, offering a variety of construction consulting services in every continent. As a multi-disciplinary group, they offer the full range of services demanded by clients in the property and construction industry, ranging from strategy advice to building audits and surveys.
The role includes carrying out professional work and managing junior members of staff within a growing team in and around the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified and have worked for a private practice carrying our similar work, be self motivated and ambitious and have well rounded building surveying skills.
Candidates must have the following:
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a similar RICS accredited course
- Chartered member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- A minimum of four years experience with a minimum of one year PQE
- Professional services experience with particular emphasis on Contract Administration, Design
- Specifications and Building Condition Surveys
- Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client
- Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts and forging new business relationships
