Our client is one of the leading providers of technical consultancy, engineering services and programme and asset management to the nuclear industry.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Over Head Lines Graduate Design Engineer, to work on the Electricity Alliance West project, in Horsham/ Leicester.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The production and checking of detailed drawings for OHL Designs Production for checking of all design tender information prior to submission.
Providing programme updates to the Principal OHL Designer/Engineer for the duration of the project life.
The review of method statements/risk assessments and the production, checking of CDS documents in conjunction with the Principal OHL Designer/Engineer
The development of new industry software.
The enhancement of trainee engineers and technicians through mentoring.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 2.2 BEng Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Basic understanding of the design procedures and standards
Knowledge of design computer software systems
Current valid driving licence
Good interpersonal skills
Self motivated
