M&E Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an M&E Manager to join a successful Construction & Engineering consultancy business in the North West

The successful applicant will oversee and be responsible for the day to day management of a team of 8 engineers.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

• Relevant building services qualification or equivalent

• Thorough knowledge of design and theory relating to commercial building services functions,

• Experience of commercial and financial management in relation to delivering profitable projects through preparing accurate cost plans and fee quotations

• Experience of resource planning in relation to demanding range of projects

• Experience of management of contracts and performance management of contractors.
• Experience of leadership/management of a team to inspire performance of your team members through targeted objectives

• A positive approach to business development and have good commercial awareness of business opportunities when they arise

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Criteria

• Professional membership of CIBSE

• IEng/CEng qualification

Responsibilities

Whilst responsible for the day to day management of the team the role will also require some hands on mechanical engineering design work. The individual will be responsible for providing guidance and development opportunities for all team members.
