JOB TITLE: Supplies Analyst
LOCATION: Wolverton Mill, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
SALARY/RATE: £15 per hour
DURATION:  Contract

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
This role is to be responsible to the Parts Purchasing Manager. You will be involved in the expedite, monitoring and control of the supply of components/materials from a global supply base, required to meet aftermarket customer and dealer requirements. 
The team manages over 40,000 live part numbers for vehicles spanning from current model back to 1959 DB4.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support team objective in maximizing parts availability.
• Maintain delivery promise data for outstanding shipments.
• Pro-actively identify and forecast supply constraints on a daily basis.
• Where supply constraints exist, determine and prioritise daily/weekly requirements by obtaining and analyzing information pertaining to demand variance, quality/packaging/transport problems, etc,
• Establish good Company/supplier relationships involving all levels of supplier management in order to achieve departmental objectives. 
• Working together with suppliers, formulate recovery plans and report against planned milestones and objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance against delivery expectations and quality.
• Working with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Purchasing and Accounts Departments in the resolution of invoice queries

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Applicants will be educated to GCSE grade C or above in Math’s and English as a minimum standard.
• Experience in Expediting or Material Planning & Control desirable.
• Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, together with the ability to work accurately and efficiently, taking resourceful action during periods of considerable pressure.
• Automotive components experience preferred.
• Computer literate.
• Current Driving licence.
