JOB TITLE: Principal Civil Engineer
LOCATION: Paris, France
SALARY: Dependent on experience
DURATION: Permanent
COMPANY OVERVIEW:
My client is embedded within the UKEPR and is preparing for the construction of 4 new nuclear plants in the UK.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
The role will provide civil engineering support to the project as it prepare and manages the civil works contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of ITT technical appendices to support the civil contracts.
Maintain overview of development of design and coordinate the update the technical information as design matures.
Preparation of information in response to queries by tenders.
Contribute to assessment of tenders.
Assist with preparation of contract.
Provide advice to the Architect Engineer on site aspects of the civil engineering.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Civil Engineering
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Member Institute of Civil Engineers, Chartered Engineer
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Civil Engineer with 10 years experience who must have experience of site working and management of subcontractors.
Experience with NEC 3 forms of contract is an advantage.
