Pre Construction Manager Surrey (£55k to £65k + Package)
A leading public sector contractor in the South East has identified a need for a Preconstruction Manager within this regional office in Surrey. You’ll be managing and directing all Preconstruction teams including Planning, Estimating, Design and Bid throughout the tender and design stages.
You’ll need to have a successful track record in the public sector, particularly in the education and social housing markets. Be able to produce method statements, forecasts, targeted programmes and strategy for new business opportunities. You’ll need to be a proactive individual who enjoys interacting with the client on a regular basis to make sure all their needs are being met throughout the bid process.
You’ll also be responsible for the following:
· Setting / following tendering strategies
· Attending tender interviews and presenting to clients
· Design review and value engineering
· Assistance in pre-contract activities such as technical submissions, development of the project programme, method statements and other pre start technical documentation
· Reviewing and updating programmes
