We have an exciting job vacancy opportunity for an Associate level Project Manager to join a leading Construction Consultancy in London with a world class reputation.
The jobholder will undertake a Project Management role on major commercial projects, manage an internal team of Project Managers and act as the key client contact for a limited range of clients. This is a client facing role and demonstrable skills in maintaining and developing both internal and external relationships are required.
You will be expected to lead and mentor a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, graduates and trainees. The job holder will be expected to actively participate in business development and will be responsible for successful delivery of the projects allocated to their team, and care of clients.
Experience:
Demonstrable and relevant Project Management experience, skills and capabilities, gained working within a client environment, with good exposure to commercial sector projects, both fit-out and new build and a working knowledge of landlord/tenant law and processes.
Experience should cover all phases of the project from inception to completion and the ability to work as a team member and lead, where appropriate, is essential. Good planning and programming skills are required, as is a working knowledge of contract law and procedures. An ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing, directly to client board level is essential.
In addition to the above the job holder must have experience or a demonstrable acumen for managing others and leadership.
Qualifications:
Ideally a degree in a “built environment” subject and/or a relevant professional qualification, typically: MCIOB, MICE, MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent.
