An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Director/ Relationship Manager to join a leading Construction/Management Consultancy. The position is based within their Health department working with NHS Clients throughout the North of England.
Their services include estates optimisation, organisational efficiency, transformation and change management, corporate estate management, facilities management, healthcare and clinical planning, governance, scrutiny and assurance reviews, technical compliance, procurement and commercial advice, equipment procurement, sustainability, risk and value management, quality assurance and cost and schedule management.
The Business Development Director will take responsibility for developing the Northern business to meet targets set. The Director will report weekly into the National DB Director and regional Operational Director, but be line managed by the CS Health Director
With proven business development attributes and experience of achieving sales campaigns, the Business Development Director will need to hold skills required to develop CS Health’ growth plans through :
Management of the business development for CS Health including agreeing sales campaigns for new products and services and implementation of agreed business development strategy.
Contributing towards Ops Directors monthly MOB reports on sales targets achieved.
Maintaining and developing existing relationships with CS Health clients and ensure that customer-focused high quality services are maintained.
Responsibility for customer development and increase in the client base ensure expertise knowledge and new services are promoted and sound working relationships with Estates advisors in Strategic Health Authorities, NHS Trusts, GP’s and other NHS organisations.
Engaging with CS Health team to ensure expertise, knowledge and new services are promoted to all CS Health clients.
Actively participating in collecting market intelligence across the market and provide feedback to CS Health Senior Team in the development of the marketing strategy.
Working with the Operational Directors to manage resources to ensure profitable business and sustainable client relationships are achieved.
Arranging, facilitating and leading in client meetings, conferences and other project team activities.
Keeping up to date with NHS and other public estate related guidance, disseminate to staff and provide timely information to Trusts as necessary to ensure good client relationships.
Excellent understanding of marketing in a consultancy business.
Ability to understand and interpret financial budgets and key performance indicators.
Knowledge of the NHS, private sector and wider government around the latest initiatives and modernisation agenda.
Providing timely supporting information to the Ops Director to support the business targets, update reports, board papers and other information required.
Managing product champions and ensure the development of sharing knowledge across the business.
Attending training to develop and build on knowledge and professional skills.
Adhering to financial delegations, quality control, health and safety policies and all other CSL governance procedures.
Ability to lead big ticket bids and interface with Group
Able to work dynamically and adapt to differing market needs and opportunities
