The purpose of this job is to act as CDM Co-ordinator for their in-house projects and external clients in the North West. Most projects will include new build and maintenance on highway networks and regeneration sites. The role will be based in our Clients Greater Manchester office; however, some travelling may be required to other offices.
The successful candidate will be providing Construction Health and Safety advice to staff and clients as well as being involved in the Business development and training of internal staff and clients. Good communication skills and experience of providing robust practical advice are essential.
Criteria required will include:
· NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
· Thorough knowledge of CDM 2007 and Health & Safety legislation
· Previous experience as CDM Co-ordinator/Planning Supervisor
· Membership of The Association of Project Safety or similar
· Business development experience
· Experience of training other people
· Excellent organisational skills
· A full UK driving license
