Due to expansion of existing projects teams, they require Senior Quantity Surveyors and Contracts/Commercial Managers to be based in the Middle East and work on prestigious projects with good working conditions. Tax Free remuneration. Negotiable but typically £65,000 - £100,000 pa plus accommodation.
Positions and Necessary Experience:
Commercial Manager
Pre and Post Contract skills, FIDIC, Cost +, GMP, Managing a team of 8 QS, Client facing, reporting skills, setting up cost reporting procedures, willing to relocate, 15 to 20+ years experience (MRICS (is a must), Value Engineering, Risk Management, Major Project experience GBP200m+ as an indication, Mixed use exp., mainly consultancy background, tender document preparation, Claims experience, preferred single status
Contracts Engineer
Pre Contract skills, FIDIC, Cost +, GMP, Managing a team of 2 QS, minor Client facing role, reporting skills, willing to relocate, 10 to 15 years experience, MRICS, preferred single status
Cost Manager
Estimating and Post Contract skills, FIDIC, Managing a team of 4 QS, minor Client facing role, reporting skills, willing to relocate, 10 to 15 years experience, MRICS, preferred single status
SQS & QS
Locals living & working in the selected countries, typical QSing tasks, e.g. BOQ, Estimates, variations, valuations
Projects in:Morocco, Sudan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Egypt – Sharm El Sheik, Qatar
Nature of Projects:
Projects are typically world classluxury resorts on the coast or within major cities. They will consist of multi-use developments including villas, hotels, equestrian centres, casinos, golf courses, retail, landscape & waterscape, infrastructure, state residential and palace compounds.
