Externals Site Manager - SE London - Permanent - £40-45k + Package (Circa)

This leading residential developer is looking for an External Finishes Site Manger for one of their flagship developments in SE London.


This former housing estate is being transformed as part of a £1 billion regeneration project which has approximately 18 years until full completion. It covers more than 269 acres and will provide around 5,000 new houses and apartments, retail and leisure facilities and park land. The build is taking place in four phases.
This phase involves various sections with 8 years left on this phase.
One section has a 9-floor 32 units apartment block (currently pouring 1st floor slab) and have delivery of the sales and marketing suite in July 2012 and a full blown launch with show homes in August 2012.
Another phase comprises of 27no 4-storey townhouses, concrete frame with brickwork façade. 8no are at concrete roof stage, ready to start brickwork.
Others are at various stages of concrete frame.

Another section comprises of a 9-storey apartment block of 45no units, on which they are currently prepping up the ground beams. Both apartment blocks are concrete frame, metsec and brickwork façade

The position is for an External Finishes Site Manager with a proven track record demonstrating experience in;

* Concrete Frame
* S.F.S
* Brick, Block, and Cladding systems
* Window installations
* Roofing works
* External finishes including hard & soft landscaping and service connections.

Must be able to/have;

* Fully coordinate trade contractors including materials storage and distribution.
* Attention to detail is critical ensuring compliance with architects and engineers details.
* Ability to write short term programmes to ensure delivery of quality product on time and to budget.
* Form part of a large on site team taking a pro active role in health & safety management on site, participate in weekly contractor & consultant meetings
* Stand alone and have an outstanding record for OHSE, Quality and programme.
