Our Client a busy independent Chartered Quantity Surveying practice in the North West has an immediate requirement for a Project/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on secondment with a major Engineering company in Warrington
The successful candidate will be predominantly working on piping installations projects within the Civil & Utilities industries so a good grasp of measuring pipe within a mechanical process engineer environment would be essential. Experience of NEC3 contract is also necessary
Our Client offers consultancy services at project feasibility stage, during the procurement phase, throughout the design and construction process and at project closeout. They offer commercial and contractual administration services to support their Clients throughout the project, with expertise in standard and bespoke forms of contract including NEC3, IChemE, ICE, FIDIC and MF1
Candidates must have QS experience working within the power or heavy process industries
The duties and responsibilities shall include re-measurement and quantification of all Electrical and Instrumentation items and preparation of invoice and variations etc.
Their project teams provide pre and post contract expertise to clients and main contractors and have extensive experience of a wide range of infrastructure, power, process and utilities projects.
