An independent Construction Consultancy has a new requirement for a Chartered (MRICS) Building Surveyor to join their multi-discipline office in central Manchester.
The firm offers the full range of services demanded by clients in the property and construction industry, ranging from strategy advice to building audits and surveys.
The current workload is predominantly Public Sector projects, local authority and education so candidates with this experience would be preferred.
The responsibilities of the role include specification preparation, procurement and financial management, planning, pre and post contract construction services, property care and maintenance, works progress and quality management.
Essential criteria
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a similar RICS accredited course
- Chartered member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- A minimum of four years' experience with a minimum of one year PQE
- Professional services experience with particular emphasis on Contract Administration, Specification Writing and Defects Diagnosis
- Private Practice or Consultancy exposure
