Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor
The opportunity has arisen for a Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK’s leading Main Contractors as part of their successful London team.

As a privately owned contractor with a successful management style they have come through the recession with a strong team who are continuing to deliver high profile projects on time and in budget. Due to continued success they have recently been awarded projects in a number of sectors across London and the South East and are looking to recruit high calibre individuals who want to progress their career and can add value to an already successful business.
The role
This position will suit Quantity Surveyors, ideally post chartered that are looking to progress their career within a main contracting environment. You will either be a confident Project Quantity Surveyor who has worked as part of a successful team on major projects or a Senior Quantity Surveyor with previous experience managing others.
In order to be considered you must be able to prove longevity of service working at a leading main contractor within the UK, as this is a succession planning/career development role we will not be able to consider anyone on a freelance basis.
You must be technically proficient and confident working on large projects in a pressured environment. You must also be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team giving support to less experienced members of staff.
You must have worked on projects within at least two of the following sectors and have worked on projects valued in excess of £10 million.
You will ideally have a variety of project experience however you must have worked on residential schemes and ideally have worked on schemes with an element of Decent Homes or Social Housing. Other sectors that may be of interest include;
· Commercial office developments, New Build or Refurbishment
· Decent homes or Social Housing
· Hotels
· Public sector-new build
· Mixed use developments
