The company.

Our client is a leading PQS consultancy with an extensive body of work both in the UK and Internationally. They are a progressive consultancy with exceptional management who have a proven track record in delivering projects across a number of sectors.

Through progressive thinking they have successfully ridden out the recession with minimal disruption to their forward business plan and have shown impressive profitability across the business with a full order book of work confirmed for the next year.

The role.

Due to continued success within their Utilities and Transportation sector they are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor who has a proven background delivering projects within the utilities and water sectors.

They have recently been awarded a number of projects with some high profile water clients including Yorkshire Water.

On the initial project you will be on secondment to the client’s office and can either be based in Leeds or Tyneside.

In order to be considered.

·You must have relevant project experience on water schemes in the UK.

·Have worked as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy firm or a leading main contractor.

·Have a full practical knowledge of the NEC form of contract and be confident dealing with any problems that this may bring.

·You must be confident dealing directly with clients and as a representative of the firm you must be well presented and a good communicator.

·You will ideally be a member of the RICS

·This is a permanent position you must therefore have a proven track record working for the same employer for some time.

This role will suit someone who is looking to progress their career within a successful organisation and wants to progress to Senior/Associate and above.
