Senior Due Diligence Surveyor

Immediate opening within asset and finance sector of leading international multi disciplinary consultancy.

Applicants will typically come from the big consultancies with management consultancy divisions/ banking and/or finance sectors. We are looking for self starters with proven wealth creation ability and creative thinking.

We are especially interested in hearing from applicants working in dual due diligence/ tax/ cost management roles. You should have a value driven, risk focused approach to projects and stakeholder management, with a clear understanding of what “value” represents to the client and their risk profile.

You should also be experienced in providing due diligence service to funders, including senior debt funders and been involved with distressed projects where the funder has been over exposed.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Pre-acquisition and development appraisal/ advice on procurement strategy on projects ranging in value for £10-100m
  • Risk identification and mitigation advice on all aspects of developments including contract documentation, consents and surveys, design development, construction proposals, cost appointments/warranties and programmes
  • Detailed development reviews and monitoring ensuring compliance with the facility agreement and the conditions precedent and subsequent
  • Ongoing analysis of project control documents including programmes, cashflows, risk registers and procurement schedules
  • Production of monitoring reports to key stakeholders identifiying risk and providing mitigation options
  • Certification of payments and provision of detailed cashflows
  • Management of distressed projects including implementation of mitigation strategies and exit strategy
