Senior Site Manager/Project Manager
The opportunity has arisen for experienced Site and Project Managers to join one of the UK’s leading Main Contractors as part of their successful London team.
The company
As a privately owned contractor with a successful management style they have come through the recession with a strong team who are continuing to deliver high profile projects on time and in budget. Due to continued success they have recently been awarded projects in a number of sectors across London and the South East and are looking to recruit high calibre individuals who want to progress their career and can add value to an already successful business.
The role
This position will suit either a Site Manager who has previously acted as number 1 on site or a Project Manager who is looking to progress their career within a main contracting environment. You will be confident working as part of a successful multidisciplinary team on major projects. You will have the ability to lead and manage staff as well as take full responsibility for the Health and Safety of the site.
In order to be considered you must be able to prove longevity of service working at a leading main contractor within the UK, as this is a succession planning/career development role we will not be able to consider anyone on a freelance basis.
You must be technically proficient and confident working on large projects in a pressured environment.
You must have worked on projects within at least two of the following sectors and have worked on projects valued in excess of £10 million;
· Commercial office developments, New Build or Refurbishment
· Decent homes or Social Housing
· Hotels
· Public sector-new build
· Mixed use developments
