Senior Site Manager - High Holborn - Temporary - 20 weeks (approx)
This well known and leading fit-out contractor has just started an £11m fit-out of commercial space for a well known American commercial broadcasting television network. The project comprises of the fit-out of 3-floors of space which is made up of double storey cinema, marketing suite, computer room, main equipment room and sub equipment room.
This is a very fast track project which needs a Senior Site Manager to report in to a site based Project Manager. The role requires someone who can run the site and site activities on a daily basis. The Project Manager will be working with the client, programme and flow of information, the Senior Site Manager will be expected to work to the programme and write short-term programmes, chair the trade contractors meetings, health & safety, management of 2-3 Site Managers and take control of the project at site level.
The right person will need to be a strategic thinker with a lot of common sense, someone who can foresee 4 weeks ahead not just work to the programme and spot obvious problems but someone who can analyse the drawings, scope of works and dig deep in to the flow of information.
Must be/have;
* PC literate
* Experience in a similar role on fast track fit-out projects
* Experience working with large main contractors
* Ideally have experience of running their own smaller projects
* Energy, drive and self-motivation
* CSCS, First Aid at Work and SMSTS
