A regional main contractor, based in Hertfordshire with a turnover approaching £10m, is looking for a Site Manager for the refurbishment and fit out of an apartment in Central London.
The project, valued at £1m is due to start at the end of January 2012, and will run for 30 weeks. There will be some minor structural alterations and roof works, and then fitting out to a very high finish.
The role would suit a stand alone Site Manager, who is able to work with minimal supervision, and ideally comes from a carpentry background, and has a good technical understanding of general building as well as a meticulous eye for finishes.
Candidates must have First Aid, SMSTS and a CSCS card. Previous experience on high end residential refurbishments would be essential.
