Their office is growing rapidly and they are looking to add an experienced Senior Operations Engineer to their team. In this role you will be responsible for:- Taking responsibility to plan operations for new equipment from the workshop to the seafloor & back again by working closely with the design team, clients and other contractors; Write operations manuals and testing procedures for new equipment; Plan, write and execute operator training programmes for new equipment; Write specifications for and manage the design and procurement of offshore transport and test equipment; Develop maintenance strategies for new equipment by working closely with the design team and third party verification bodies; and Participate in the qualification process for new technology by planning, writing test procedures, executing tests and writing up results. Testing from small scale workshop tests to large scale, multi-contractor trials. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and knowledge of sub-sea drilling operations and ROV operations. You will ideally be able to work within a relatively young technology development team of different levels and types of experience to deliver a new system sub-sea in a short space of time. You will be able to take responsibility for your own work and the work of others in the team and must be capable of working at all levels from workshop floor to high level planning meetings with clients.

They are looking to add a Well Services Engineer to their expanding permanent team In this role you will be responsible for working with the Subsurface, Drilling & Completions team to provide Well Services Engineering support both pre-planning and operational. In this role your responsibilities will include:- Prepare well programmes for interventions which may include aspects of workovers and completions, including development of probabilistic time and cost estimates for well intervention projects Use CSOC and CPDEP practices and tools for project decision making Support the selection of appropriate service providers whilst ensuring they conduct safe well intervention processes to ensure incident free operations are obtained. Ensure all well invention objectives are identified and documented, including any mechanical risk factors and mitigating actions. Ensure compliance with Well Examination Process and Change Management processes. Captures lessons learned for future programmes Prepare and submit all relevant Governmental and HSE Notifications and approvals within required timetables, to achieve the planned start date for well intervention operations. Support Partner approval processes as required. Supervise well intervention and supporting workover/completion programmes at the offshore wellsite ensuring they are executed in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable legislation and procedures Maintain professional technical capabilities, in particular an awareness of new or novel intervention techniques and processes. Provide day to day operational support, operational details and costs to the Drilling Superintendent during ongoing well operations and seek to optimize all aspects of the operations. Wellsite work may entail work at unmanned installations in addition to platforms, mobile offshore drilling units and dive support vessels - a considerable proportion of worktime will be spent offshore. Support selection of appropriate well service providers, and detailed equipment designs and suitable suppliers. Work with service providers to promote and enhance the operational teamwork philosophy and emphasizing safety and environmental awareness in well intervention to deliver incident free operations. A Strong Focus on safety leadership is required for implementation of incident free operations at the well site. Suggest and implement improvements in the Drilling and Completion Group's Operational Excellence The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. You will also have experience in a similar role within the Oil and Gas industry- with particular experience of delivering well intervention programmes safely, on schedule and within budget. You will also ideally have experience of well intervention operations. Offshore supervisory experience of well interventions for platform well operations would also be ideal for this role. You will have proven competence in providing day to day well servicing operational support. A current IWCF or Wellcap Well Control Certificate would be preferable.
