This British based Construction Consultancy is an international multi-disciplinary firm of chartered Surveyors and Project Manager. They have been established for nearly 100 years and have offices across Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East and have built a solid reputation.
About the Role:
They are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to be based from their Egypt office.
The project is designed as an Egyptian themed luxury resort on the Red Sea. The project site consists of multi-use development including a hotel associated amenities, spa, retail, themed recreational landscape & waterscape, infrastructure, residential (Phase 1) and a palace compound. The scope of works for the project includes for the shell and core of the structure.
In addition to the above they also have the current task to manage the construction of a hotel in Egypt through to completion and handover for operation. The hotel consist of mid rise tower including well over 200 standard rooms , 60 hotel suites, 100 hotel-serviced apartments and 16 luxury serviced apartments all resting on a seven storey above ground.
Job Specification:
As the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for, and need to have a demonstrable background in the following: Pre and Post Contract skills, FIDIC, Cost +, Managing a team of 8 QS, Client facing, reporting skills, setting up cost reporting procedures, willing to relocate, MRICS (is a must), Value Engineering, Risk Management, Major Project experience, Mixed use experience, mainly consultancy background, tender document preparation, and Claims experience.
