Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineer

ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS ENGINEER - £30-£45K - STAFFORDSHIRE

Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineer required urgently for the design and development of electronic systems for agricultural, off road, military vehicles and compact machinery. The company are a world renowned manufacturer of construction equipment. Currently employing thousands of people world wide the company are continuing to expand rapidly, investing heavily in research and development and consistently paving the way for modern technology within the construction industry.

THE ROLE:

As the Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineer you will be wholly responsible for leading the technical development of projects from concept stage through to completion.

• Work with the Engineering Team, Suppliers and Marketing on the development and delivery of technical briefs.
• Design and development of 12/ 24 Volts Electrical Systems and components.
• Specification, development and integration of electrical/ electronic systems.
• Specification, development and integration of electronic and software control solutions.
• Testing and validation of machine electrical/ electronics systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a HND in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering/ Computer Science or related educational background.
• Must have demonstrative experience in automotive electrical/ electronic hardware and real time embedded systems integration design.
• Must be able to understand and contribute to the development of CAN bus networks and vehicle harness architecture.
• May have a familiarity/ understanding with/ of MISRA guidelines.
• May have worked with agricultural vehicles or off-road vehicles.
