THE ROLE
As the role of an Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for working on a range of technically advanced development projects
• You will be expected to design and document packaged products such as LV/MV Switchgear, filters and drives; including electrical design.
• Candidate responsibilities will involve planning workload and ensuring budgets and deadlines are met (within engineering department).
• Candidates will be expected to work within a team of skilled engineers and technicians as well as liaise with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
THE PERSON
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will;
• Be expected to occasionally work away from an office environment to attend customer meetings, acceptance tests and commissioning.
• The successful Electrical Design Engineer candidate will ideally hold a degree/ HND level electrical engineering.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Self motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to use their initiative
