One of the world’s largest engineering consultancies is seeking to recruit an Electrical Inspector to work on a prestigious highway project in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be carrying out daily inspections of the works and sign off the relevant part of the contractor’s RFI in a timely manner. They will also report to the Senior Electrical Engineer and raise any safety issues, concerns over progress and any poor workmanship or non-conformances.
Candidates will need a BSc or equivalent in a relevant technical subject and a proven background in major highway projects. Candidates must possess the ability to read working drawings and related specifications, and capable of enforcing such specifications. Computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential.
