JOB TITLE: Finance Analyst
LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire
SALARY: £12.50 per hour

My client is a leading automobile manufacturer who specialise in the luxury sports car sector.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
This position is for a Finance Analyst and will be directly responsible to the Finance Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Business Plan preparation
• Budget Preparation, liaise with operating areas and Finance
• Monthly Accounts review and analysis
• Monthly Forecast review and analysis
• Preparation of monthly management pack pages and operating pack review packs.
• Monthly operating reviews
• Daily authorisation of spend, checking Budget, Forecast, correct cost centre and account allocation.
• Monthly headcount reviews with operating areas, analysis and reporting.
• Capital project approvals, forecast and budgeting
• Expense project approvals
• Presentations of Financials
• Program profitability
• Gateway preparation and presentations
• Labour analysis by program
• Project approvals and investment analysis
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Educated to degree level
• CIMA, ACCA qualification preferable but part qualified, or studying would be seen as a positive attribute. Funding of external training to achieve a professional accounting qualification in CIMA is not currently supported but may be next year, subject to the financial climate.
• Experience within an analysis function would be useful.
• Excel required for all roles - good working knowledge.
• PowerPoint needed particularly in PD where there are presentations, but useful in all areas.
• Word useful.
