Information Systems Developer

Job Description
As part of this desire for growth the client is seeking to quickly expand their Information Systems Development capability.
This is a capability that is responsible for developing and delivering high quality technical solutions to paying customers.
There is an increasing demand for such Information Systems emanating either directly from external customers or being requested as an integral part of wider external work packages to be delivered by the company utilising a number of their technical capabilities.

The technical areas of Information Systems development will relate to but not be limited to
Desktop and intranet applications using Visual Studio 2005 (VB or C#)
Database Development in SQL Server 2005
SOAP/XML
Web-based Services
SQL Reporting Services or Crystal Reports
Excel/Access Applications

Training will be given to suitable candidates who exhibit the necessary desire and potential for a career in the nuclear industry in an Information Systems Developer role.

Essential Skills/Qualifications
Honours Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant discipline.

Desirable Skill/ Qualifications
Relevant Information Systems skills gained through work coupled with a strong desire for a career in Information Systems development in a technical environment.
