LEAD STRUCTURAL ANALYST
LOCATION: SLOUGH

Our client is a leading engineering and safety consultancy providing project design and asset integrity management services and health, safety and risk management capabilities to the offshore and renewable energy industries.
Scope of role:
The successful candidate will take a leading role in the delivery of offshore analysis work, including nonlinear and dynamic problems, in the Slough office. The role will include responsibility for overseeing and auditing work by others to ensure quality and consistency.
Skills & qualifications
BSc(Eng) or MSc(Eng) in Structural or Civil Engineering
Chartered, MICE or MIStructE or equivalent
The use of structural analysis software (e.g. ASAS, SACS, ANSYS, ABAQUS, SESAM, USFOS) for linear and nonlinear global analysis and detailed FE analysis of structural components
Proven record in structural design and analysis of offshore structures with detailed knowledge of design codes.
Experience resolving demanding technical problems to demonstrate structural integrity.
Fracture mechanics and risk based inspection.

Ability to prepare written business correspondence and technical documentation that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional
Able to demonstrate skilled knowledge in analysing technical solutions and writing detailed technical specifications

Able to establish effective working relationships with clients and manage expectations effectively
