THE ROLE
As the role of a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for working on a range of technically advanced development projects
• Prepare mechanical drawings from specifications
• Prepare design proposals for MV switchboards
• You will responsible for the modelling, assemblies, design and detailing of components for drives and switchgears.
• Candidates will be expected use a wide range of computer aided engineering tools.
• The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will create mechanical drawings for copperwork, sheetmetal pipework fabrication and liaise with subcontractors regarding mechanical drawings
THE PERSON
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will;
• Have the ability to problem solve, plan, organise and work under pressure.
• Have prior experience of Pro-E/ Radan software
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Self motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to use their initiative
