JOB TITLE: Rotating Machines Engineer
LOCATION: Wynyard, North East England
SALARY/RATE: To be confirmed
DURATION: Contract – 6 months
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
There is a vacancy for a Rotating Machines Engineer in Wynward for a 6 month period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of equipment requisitions, specifications, data sheets, drawings, bid tabulations, data schedules, etc
• Produce man-hour budgets
• Technical bid analysis
• Review vendor calculations
• Make technical recommendations
• The ability to work within a team, producing mechanical engineering deliverables to schedule and within man-hour budgets
• Quality and safety of designs
• Adherence to Codes, Standards and Regulations
• Interdisciplinary design interface
• Communication of information to teams
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
HND Mechanical Engineering essential.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
BSc/BEng MIMechE – is desirable
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• A working knowledge of mechanical engineering subjects relative to engineering contracting
• Rotating equipment in particular gas compressors
• Additional knowledge of equipment packages and static equipment - is desirable
