A highly innovative consultancy, with exceptional levels of staff progression, development and retention are keen to source a Civil / Structural Engineer to act as assistant to the Project Engineer to undertake civil, structural & geotechnical design for a wide range of projects including road, rail, building, bridge and viaduct.
At this level you should hold appropriate civil and structural engineering qualifications with significant post-graduate experience and be just / near chartered.
An ability to carry out engineering design under the direction of project engineer / project manager.
Be able to deal with contractor's staff on technical matters.
Excellent technical and analytical / numerical skills; experience in detailed design of major building, civil or bridge structures; the ability to work under pressure; and a high versatility of technical abilities including 3-D frame and plate modelling / analysis using software (STAAD, ETABS, etc.) are also essential for the role.
