JOB TITLE:  Senior Process Engineer
LOCATION:  Birchwood
SALARY:  Dependent on experience
DURATION:  Permanent

COMPANY INFORMATION:
Our client is one of the leading providers of technical consultancy, engineering services and programme and asset management to the nuclear industry.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Front End Engineering Design work for various nuclear waste retrieval and treatment and decommissioning projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Feasibility and Optioneering Studies. Hazard Identification Studies. Process Design DevelopmentProduction of process flow sheets, process flow diagrams and P&IDs with all underpinning calculations. Equipment data sheets.

Production of all process engineering documents (basis of design, process description, various startegy documents).

Design justification or assessment of new and existing process plants as part of safety reports.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Chemical Engineering

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Chartered Engineer

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Nuclear industry experience is essential. Knowledge of sludge retrieval and effluent treatment processes would be extremely beneficial.
