Senior Risk Specialist-UAE
A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Risk Specialist to join one of the world’s leading engineering, construction and project management consultancies to work on a £5 billion project landmark transportation project in the UAE.

The Position and Skills
The successful candidate will assist the Project Risk Manager in the administration of project insurance and risk financing programs. Conduct studies, review and analyse data, prepare reports for use in measuring the impact of manageable risks and methods to treat these risks. They must initiate and maintain regular contact with senior manager’s, department managers and in-house legal counsel regarding the statue of the insured litigation and related insurance issues as well as building a relationships with insurance carrier managers and insurance adjusters to support active resolution litigation. Reviews legal documents, correspondence and insurance policies to confirm whether project\'s insurance coverage(s) applies to individual claims/legal actions.
Tender claims to insurance carriers based on analysis of project\'s insurance policies/arrangements.
Experience
In order to be considered you must;
Be able to demonstrate your experience in performing risk management on major construction projects.
Have worked for an international construction consultant both in the UK and overseas.
Have experience working on major projects in either the Transportation or Energy sectors.
Be familiar with project execution process, quality control and assurance functions
Have the ability to interface and effectively coordinate with Department Managers to assess program risks, develop risk strategies and identify opportunities.
