Leading UK Building Services Contractor currently looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to their busy in house design team.
Our client is a well reputed multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices throughout the U.K and globally, some of their recent projects include Commercial Developments, Education Establishments, Retail and Hotels.
Our client is part of a global technology solutions provider to the food processing industries. Due to an expanding customer base they are looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance & upgrade support to customers largely based in the Midlands. You must be commercially gas qualified COCN1 or equivalent, with sound PLC knowledge & solid experience of commercial gas burners & conducting combustion checks & calibration. This position would suit food industry maintenance engineers that have experience of working with large factory based commercial ovens but must have commercial gas qualification in addition to their electrical & mechanical skills. You must also have field service experience. This is a home based role but will involve intensive travel and frequent overnight stays. Good salary, plus vehicle, benefits and overtime. The ideal candidate will be located in the West Midlands. Candidates with commercial gas certs and a electrical skills and qualifications will be at a distinct advantage. THIS IS NOT A CATERING ENGINEER ROLE.
Vehicle & Bens OTE ?40K+
The role will involve production of scheme designs, detail designs and manufacturing drawings using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor) for high value, low volume systems. Designs will require validation via structural hand calculations (Mathcad) and finite element analysis (ANSYS). The role will also entail the production of technical documentation to accompany the commissioned equipment and demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation.
